INTRODUCTION

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is also named as horse radish tree or drumstick that is commonly found in the Indian sub-continent. It is a small, graceful deciduous tree. The height of the Moringa tree is 10 to 12 meters, whose branches are fragile & feathery foliage leaves. Flowers of Moringa show yellowish-white petals. It is traditionally used for the preparation of various herbal medicines. The bark of the herb Moringa is dark greyish & smooth. Fruits of this plant are three-sided having brown capsule holding the globular seeds. The seeds of Moringa show whitish papery wings that are often dispersed by wind & air.
